Chaos Cosmos is fast on its way to becoming the largest and smartest curated collection of render-ready 3D assets, bringing you more diversity, choice, and creative freedom.
With the first wave of new assets now live, visualization artists can begin exploring more than 1,300 people assets, over 2,000 vegetation assets—including trees, shrubs, vines, hedges, and ornaments—and more than 1,800 pieces of furniture and accessories. Every asset is high-quality and render-ready, giving artists even more flexibility and speed in their creative workflows.
This is just the beginning: more than 30,000 new assets will be introduced over time, expanding the library by more than 400%. Among these are brand-new categories that open up exciting possibilities, including construction site assets, industrial scene assets, and a wide range of street and urban design assets.
Curated, optimized, and ready to render
Every new asset meets Chaos’s high standards for quality and usability. They’re optimized for lightweight performance in the viewport while delivering photoreal realism in final renders. Whether you work in V-Ray, Corona, Vantage, or Envision, Cosmos delivers a seamless, unified experience.
Important note: To access these new assets, users must update their Cosmos Browser. Beginning September 15, anyone opening Cosmos will see an in-browser popup notification prompting the update. If the popup is closed without updating, the update will need to be performed manually later.
Designed for global workflows
This release also strengthens local relevance with regionally inspired content. You’ll find vegetation and people assets reflecting diverse geographies and cultures, including expanded coverage across Asia and Oceania.
What’s next
The September release is only the first step. More assets and smarter features, such as animated vegetation and people, will continue rolling out. Plus, the AI Material Generator, already available in V-Ray for 3ds Max, makes it easy to create custom, realistic materials — helping you transform real-world photos into lifelike 3D materials in seconds.
Cosmos is becoming the largest and smartest curated library of its kind. And this is just the start.
